Maci&Tory had their big fat Greek wedding-coronation-apotheosis party, before the eyes of the ENTIRETY of the Elysian Fields, the Queen of the Underworld, (+ two Olympians who so super did not wanna be there lmao) - ITS THEIR?!! TWENTY YEAR WEDDING ANNIVERSARY TODAY??!?!?!?!??! AAAAAAAAAA-
3 of the wedding pics here (the two solo Maci’s, + Maci&Tory’s Kiss) are actually redraws of their original wedding drawings from way back when🥹 As I’ve explained a thousand times, Elysium-time-zone includes an In-Universe 5 year time skip, so even though Canonically to them the wedding was Oct. 16, 2005 — OoC it took place in the real world back in 2010. but that’s still fifteen REAL years! To make myself cry I have included here both the first attempt redraw I did in 2015, & the actual original drawing I did ON the 16th DURING their wedding convo, when I was 13 years old. SOBS?? (I have the other two too perhaps i'll share those later!)

Maci&Tory, who of course was mortal in the beginning, got married INCREDIBLY quickly after only having KNOWN each other for like a year & a half mid whirlwind romance, because by that point Tory had literally three separate deities trying their fucking hardest to KILL HIM DEAD. When Maci’s own father Hades came the closest, it was the last straw & they got married to gain the protection of Olympian Queen Hera + Aphrodite. [After lots of begging.] Plus to turn Tory safely immortal! This did get Hades to back off 💞 (not the other two; that’s a different story) and they lived - AS WE KNOW - Happily ever after…🥹 omg. Maci & Tory's story did start a little before here, but the Elysium'verse as we know it today really kicked off from this point on so I am soooooooo. bawlinggg g ggggggg
this dumbass caption is so so long but a special weepy shout out to MY eternal partner-in-crime, Elysium’s co-creator the hiatus'd @fenixethekid (of whomst Tory belongs to), who has built this crazy world with me, from way before their marriage, to their ten kids later of today fgfkgk. Maci&Tory don’t remember their anniversary date - immortal deity probs lol - but WE do! Congrats to OUR kiddos 😭😭😭 jesus CHRIST 🥂
